Kelly Ahr

Hi! 

Welcome to my website!  I am an actor, singer, dancer, director and choreographer based in the Chicagoland area.  

I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Central College with triple majors in Musical Theatre, Acting and Directing & Dramaturgy and a minor in Dance, and was recipient of the Outstanding Theatre Major award. While at North Central College, I was active in several productions, including two world premiere plays.  My senior year, I was selected as director for the Storefront Series, where I choreographed and directed a new translation of the Commedia dell 'Arte play, The Serpent Lady by Carlos Gozzi. I also work as a choreographer and director at a local children's theatre, tailoring my choreography and directorial approach to various age groups from K-12.

While not working on or behind the stage, I love reading fantasy novels and new theatrical works, singing & dancing around the house, writing new musicals, working with the other artists in my studio and traveling with my family.
